Established in 2001, Memory Devices Limited is principally in the R&D, production and sale of solid state memory storage products which can be categorised under DRAM memory modules and Flash memory products. |

Our range of high performance DRAM products can be used in PCs, notebook, servers, printers and some display devices such as HDTV. The Flash memory storage products, including compact flash cards, multi-media card and USB flash drives, are highly durable and widely used in digital cameras, mobile phones, PDA and MP3 players. These products are sold mainly to our ODM and OEM customers in the PRC, Taiwan, Europe, the US as well as the Middle East.
In addition, our products are sold throughout the PRC under our own brands "M.Tec" and "gizMOS" through GOME, a home appliance and electronics retail chain store giant in the PRC. Attesting to our confidence in our products' superb quality, we also provide lifetime warranty for some of our products. |

Our two ISO-certified production facilities, with a total built-up area of approximately 18,400 sq m, are located in the cities of Dongguan in the Guangdong Province and Kunshan in the Jiangsu Province. We emphasise strict control procedures to build quality into our products at every stage of our production process, from raw materials selection right up to finished products. |

To maintain our competitive edge, our 42-strong R&D team consisting of engineers and technicians are responsible for the R&D of new and innovative products and services, product modifications and enhancements as well as new production processes which enhance our capabilities to provide value-added services to our customers. Keeping close contacts with our customers and forming strategic partnerships with them to jointly develop new products enable our R&D team to stay ahead of times and changing trends. We are able to undertake around 20 to 30 new design projects annually. |

Our facilities in Dongguan and Kunshan have received both the ISO9001:2000 Quality System Certification and the ISO14001 Environmental Protection System Certification between 2002 and 2004. |

Dongguan |

With a built up area of approximately 7,900 square metres, Dongguan facility started production in 2002 with 2 surface mount technology (SMT) production lines to mass produce DRAM memory modules and Flash memory storage products. Besides having the annual capacity to produce 6.72 million production units (as at FY2004), R&D is also conducted at the premise. |

Kunshan |

Established in 2002, the Kunshan plant is engaged in the R&D as well as production of DRAM memory modules and Flash memory storage products with an annual capacity of 5.76 million production units. Housing 4 SMT production lines, this facility has an aggregate built-up area of approximately 10,500 square metres. |
